That ten men came from Pakistan by sea is established. That there has been a dismal failure in our intelligence system is obvious. That we have no coastal security system worth the name has also been exposed. That the National Security Guard (NSG) has been more involved in VIP security duties has outraged the people.

Probe Role Of Hindutva Terror Outfits
SENIOR CPI(M) MP and central secretariat member Hannan Mollah has urged the prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh to take personal initiative in combating the new challenges posed by neo-fascist Hindu fundamentalist organisations. In a letter written to prime minister on September 2, 2008, Mollah apprised him regarding the serious situation arising out of the strengthening of some fascist organisations and growing failure of the government to tackle them. Decrying CBI's attempts to cover up the role of these Hindu terror outfits, he sought prime minister's personal attention and effective and conscious action to deal with the dangerous situation.
J&K: Douse The Incendiary Flames
HEARING the prime minister report to the all-party meeting that he convened on the very grave and serious situation in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, it was clear that such an initiative should have been taken earlier. All the parties represented in the parliament were present at this meeting. The unanimous resolution adopted is being reproduced alongside.
