All out hartal in Bangladesh against gas deal with American MNC

The National Committee to Protect Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources, Power and Ports, under the leadership of Communist Party of Bangladesh, are fighting a heroic struggle against government’s signing of a production sharing contract with American oil company, Conocophillips. The National Committee enforced a successful half day hartal on Sunday, which held the entire country standstill. The Government came down heavily on the protestors.
