'We’re not healers. We’re not good Christians. We are freedom fighters.’

On April 4, 2006 outside the Freedom Theatre at Jenin, which he had co-founded, this is how Juliano Mer-Khamis  described the politics that he espoused.  On April 4, 2011, he was gunned down at exactly the same place by fundamentalist bullets.

Israel and its Unjust War

Unarguably, Israeli regime is a blood-thirsty, irrational and illegal regime. Humanity stands offended by the very existence of this Israeli establishment.

The Real Mossad Vs Spielberg’s Mossad

Israel is possibly the only unapologetic state in the world that believes in assassination of opponents as a state policy. Ironically, that this nation does "hit jobs" through its notorious spy agency - the Mossad, actually gives it an "aura" of professionalism - as much as the Mumbai underworld looked "cool" in the eyes of many during its heydays.

The slogans accompanying the drawings are not exactly anemic either: A T-shirt for infantry snipers bears the inscription "Better use Durex," next to a picture of a dead Palestinian baby, with his weeping mother and a teddy bear beside him. A sharpshooter's T-shirt from the Givati Brigade's Shaked battalion shows a pregnant Palestinian woman with a bull's-eye superimposed on her belly, with the slogan, in English, "1 shot, 2 kills." A "graduation" shirt for those who have completed another snipers course depicts a Palestinian baby, who grows into a combative boy and then an armed adult, with the inscription, "No matter how it begins, we'll put an end to it.""... Who said nearly 50 years ago that Israel was an Apartheid State?

"Israel has lost in Gaza. Whilst many Palestinians have lost their lives the Palestinians have not been conquered or cowed. Repression generates resistance and that will grow. Israeli aggression stands exposed". This is the address by Ronnie Kasrils, veteran South African communist and anti-apartheid activist, on the occasion of Israel Apartheid Week.
