Successive BJP-led or Congress-led central governments have diluted the role of the government and handed over a very large part of the economic resources to private companies – either Indian or foreign. If BJP loses, Congress will come to power and if Congress loses the power, BJP will come back, without any end to the ever-increasing prices of essential commodities, vegetables, medicines, education costs, transportation costs etc. The BJP leaders’ faces do not reflect the agony of the common people over the all round price rise but betray a fiendish pleasure.
