The Paradox of Capitalism
J0hn Maynard Keynes, though bourgeois in his outlook, was a remarkably insightful economist, whose book Economic Consequences of the Peace was copiously quoted by Lenin at the Second Congress of the Communist International to argue that conditions had ripened for the world revolution. But even Keynes’ insights could not fully comprehend the paradox that is capitalism.
Lenin's April Theses
April 22 is the anniversary of Lenin's birth. Revolutionaries all over the world remember one of the greatest among them on this day. But for communists, remembering birthdates is not about fetishising personalities but rather about engaging with their ideas and keeping alive the memory of their contributions (which the bourgeois media and writers would rather obliterate and caricature). It is in this tradition that Pragoti brings to its readers one of Lenin's most significant writings: The April Theses.
