It is surprising that an effort by the SFI JNU unit to reach out to their fellow comrades across the country with explanations of their political actions and appeals for solidarity is being compared with becoming captive in an abusive marriage. Sectarian organisations like the AISA whose presence has always been limited to the JNU campus, will never understand the significance of solidarity, because neither do they receive nor provide any. Efforts to provoke the SFI JNU unit to abandon their political positions and take to AISA-style CPIM bashing are pointless. They will never succeed.
