What MB has done is indeed unpardonable because a lot of interested readers who are not scholars of EMS can easily be fooled by the Outlook article. This also makes me wonder what the role of the editor is in such cases; clearly facts have been obfuscated and one does not expect this from a 'scholar' of the Indian nationalistic movement. Shouldn't Outlook carry a corrigendum?

Also, your reproduction of the exact malayalam quote is much appreciated. It should be a reminder for authors who base a significant part of their argument on translated work.
