caste census and biometrics
I must say that the decision to have caste census attached to the biometric stage of NPR compromises the privacy aspect of UID further, which had earlier said no caste data would be collected alongside. Lalu Prasad and Sharad Yadav got the point quicly, when they said: "यह क्या है बयोमेट्रिक बयोमेट्रिक....? पच्छास साल में भी पूरा नहीं होगा.....और आप जाती सेन्सस को उसके साथ डुबाने वाले हो?"
