The author of this piece has simply written an apology for the reformist politics of the CPM and nothing else. He simply hides the flaws of the CPM government in WB by pointing fingers at the only practitioners of revolutionary democracy in India. It is common knowledge that the CPM is a tyrant and does not allow for political freedom. That coupled with it's utterly collaborationist and reformist politics makes it the worst betrayer of the communist movement in India.
